As a Management and Program Analyst at Federal Student Aid (FSA), you will play a critical role in ensuring that information, operations, and personnel processes across the organization are accurate, efficient, and aligned with federal standards. The Challenge
In this role, you will evaluate how data, processes, and applications are managed across FSA, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and clarity. You will identify opportunities for improvement, maintain high standards of accountability, and ensure that information and documentation are used correctly and securely. Your responsibilities may include:
- Reviewing how data is stored, organized, and interpreted to ensure clarity and accuracy.
- Monitoring program operations to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Evaluating departmental processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Reviewing applications and documentation to verify alignment with position requirements and organizational guidelines.
- Ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Addressing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding data, reporting, and procedural interpretation.
What You’ll Do
Your work supports all phases of project management, operational oversight, and personnel evaluation. Responsibilities may include:
- Organizing, maintaining, and improving databases and contract-related information.
- Evaluating data requests and preparing accurate, clearly communicated responses.
- Reviewing analytical and quantitative reports to assess program performance.
- Preparing written findings, recommendations, and decision-ready documentation.
- Supporting project teams by helping clarify information, solve problems, and implement improvement strategies.
- Assisting with planning, monitoring, and communicating project progress.
- Evaluating applications according to established procedures and safeguarding documentation throughout the assessment process.
- Ensuring decisions are based solely on documented qualifications and regulatory requirements.
